A step-by-step guide

Applying to ASU’s School of Technology for Public Health MPH program

1. Primary application

Make an account at the national level with the Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS) and review their FAQs. Then complete their primary application, including adding the School of Technology for Public Health to your program list.

2. Preliminary admissions decision

After submitting your completed application, your status will move to “verified,” and the admissions committee at the School of Technology for Public Health will complete a preliminary review of your application materials. Applicants meeting eligibility requirements for entry will be invited to complete a secondary application for Arizona State University.

3. Secondary application

If you are invited to complete the secondary application, you must respond to that email invitation from ASU, confirming your interest in the School of Technology for Public Health. Our admissions staff will create the secondary application for you. Then you will be invited to review your full application materials within the ASU system (i.e., complete remaining fields requiring validation, paying the application fee, etc.).

4. Official admissions decision

You will receive admissions decisions to the email address you provided SOPHAS and on your My ASU portal. Materials will include a formal welcome letter and sample plan of study. The School of Technology for Public Health will be in regular contact with admitted students providing guidance on next steps.
